help for Nokia 3220 on orange please

Hi, We have just moved to Oz and have brought a Nokia 3220 mobile on the orange network with us, please can you help me unlock it.
I'm not very technical so instructions in plain English would be good.

You need a calculated code, which depends on the phone type, original network, and the phone's serial (IMEI) number - get this by pressing *#06#

Then, there is a thread where you can ask help on unlocking Nokias, pinned near the top of this board. Read the instructions in Browntoa's first post about how to enter the code, etc. If you post the info, you'll get a reply fairly soon.

Hi, thanks all, but i couldnt seem to get the correct code. so i went on http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/ and ended up paying £2.95. They instantly emailed me the code and instructions. Very simple. Thanks again

you should have posted the phone details in the sticky at the top and you would have saved your £2.95
