  • :) good point. I think most dodgy dealers on ebay prefer to say nothing then tell a lie, hence why they havent responded or mentioned anything about the authenticity in their listings. We use mach 3 because of the quality, so it would defeat the object if we ended up with lower quality fakes. Plus I dont like the idea of being sold fake goods unknowingly anyways. Its not that Im unwilling to take a chance, im just unwilling to fund a possible counterfeit dealer who looks like they could quite possibly be devioulsy selling fake and lower standard goods while passing it off as the real thing to the unknowing public. Anyways, off to bed. I really shouldnt have downloaded google earth! :)

Another possible reasonn they are so cheap from some sellers - Mach 3 blades are one of (if not *the*) most shoplifted items in the UK, mainly because they are small light and expensive to buy.

You could always try contacting other buyers who have left feedback for them.
Just because you used to be you think everybody else is, don't you?

If I had to choose between the 2 sellers I'd go with the first one (item no:5667714091) Purely because the other one has 2 negs for possible fake blades.

A bit OT, but useful - use http://www.toolhaus.org/ to check a users negative/neurtral feedback easily.
  • You can get Mach3 blades at Costco much cheaper than high street. Can't remember exact price, sorry.

I always buy mine at our local bootsale. Much cheaper!

We have a guy here who sells loads of beauty stuff and i always get my stuff from there. The turbo ones £5 for 8.

Might be worth a look there.
Accept that some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.
  • I know people who have bought these in the past, was lucky with one seller who was selling grey market one's which were fine, the second time got stung by fakes, quality was crap and seemed to get more nicks and cuts off the blade, he just binned them all.
2p off is still 2p off!
  • Right, kindof interesting. The guy selling this item '5665379207' reponded to the normal question sent by my husband within a few hours, though for the 3rd time didnt respond to my question asking if they were real gilette blades. My conclusion is that he's obvioulsy hiding something and that the blades arent authentic. Most of the people he's selling to probably think they've received the real thing. :naughty:
