£10 Airtime Coupon
Please help!
My daughter has purchased a mobile from Argos....PAYG Orange and it comes with a free £10 airtime coupon.
The coupon (well its not really a coupon) comes in a DVD box (Sealed) and it is a Orange leaflet that says to dial 0845 880 1234 to add your airtime. We have tried and failed and no-one can help! If you dial it from the mobile it tells you to dial 450 (orange customer services) and you cant speak to them because you dont have credit! If you try from a landline it tells you they are busy please hold and then disconnects the call!
Has anyone on here sucessfully managed to get their free airtime? Am I doing something wrong here? Maybe missing the obvious?
Thanks

I too purchased a phone for my daughter.
It says to claim your free £10 airtime dial 450 from the Orange sticker on the box.
Managed to get to a person, but refuses to credit the £10 saying it was not bought from an Orange shop.(It was bought from Amazon).
They say the credit can only be credited if bought from Orange, and that it is a scam if bought anywhere else.
Phoned again last Sunday and they escalated it further and would get back within 72 hours - surprise, still waiting!
So does anyone know how to get this £10 onto the phone?

The problem is that the phone only comes with 1p credit which is not enough to phone the number given. The coupon (well its not really a coupon) comes in a DVD box (Sealed) and it is a Orange leaflet that says to dial 0845 880 1234 to add your airtime. After toping up the phone by other means I was able to dial 0845 880 1234 to get an out of office message saying could register at w . w . w . simregister.co.uk
Having entered the details at simregister.co.uk got the reply:
"Your phone will be topped up in the next 48 hours."
Just checked a few minutes later and the £10 credit has been added :T0
