Orange Mobile Contracts: Payment issues

Hello there, and, despite this being my first post, I'm not here to bring bad news, or pleas for help!

Firstly, the main issue. Payments made, according to the very helpful Kim...or at least started with K...on Orange Support, between 12th and 16th February have not been counted. Apparently, they are trying to find the issue and advised me to check my balance on Friday to see if its been paid. I'm hopeful it'll be sorted. Hopefully, that's helped some very worried orange customers, like me, with strangely high bills.

But now, the main part. Unlimited texts, a Nokia N82 and 400 minutes? I pay £25 a month, which is reasonable. I had to talk them into 3 months free web access.....and now, that period is over. So, I need another discount to keep my money saving side happy. I looked on Orange's online portal, and unlimited texts? £20? 200 minutes? Looks pretty neat to switch to, but no best plan option to reduce value. I called orange 150, went to best plan, told them I had a text several months ago about best plan, and as it was my first switch, they just asked for what it said. So, I replied the Dolphin £20. This should be introduced on the 8th of this month.

So, summary, £20 = N82, 200 minutes and Unlimited Texts. Pretty good deal. My advice? Check your bills VERY closely, and always look on your providers site for opportunities to switch, even if it doesn't seem a obvious choice. I'll switch to direct debit once the whole billing issue is over.

    Do you mean once the 3 months of web is up or the contract? If it was after the 3 months dont think they really need to give you another discount.
