Does seem longwinded.. I have only applied last weekend, and have no ISA allowance left this year, so need to get the funds in with the transfer.

Would the (transferred) funds need to be in for the account to be opened? If so I stand little chance of this happening before the end of the financial year...

The time this takes is ridiculous. Why couldn't they let us request a transfer form when first making the application. Or have one to download with the initial application like other banks do?
