Great tip! But what about the noise of the bouncing ball in the dryer - would drive me nuts!  :o
Better than a golf ball though eh? ;D

  • The anti-static properties are reat if you're having a bad hair day. My hair often gets quite static, and a quick whipe with a tumble drier sheet soon sorts it out. You even get to walk around all day smelling like clean laundry! ;D

A friend told me a baby wipe (obviously unused!!!) in the tumble drier has a similar effect to bounce at a fraction of the cost.
I dont often use fabric conditioner anyway as it aggravates my son's eczema.
I dont know whether my hoover freshener idea would work in the drier too - if the hoover gets pongy i suck up a cotton wooll ball with a couple of drops of essential oil. I spose you would have to use a cloth instead of cotton wool in the drier!

you can soak a sponge in scenty water using your fave essential oil and squeeze it out not to dry

stick it in the tumbler voila house smells nice so does washing

tho this wont condition the washing unless you use softner in the sponge

    btw

    * cough

If you are the owner of 100 J cloths

sew them together and make a jaunty bedspread for when guests come, they will be impressed.

    make a tent

    make a dress

    make curtains

impregnate them with softener and make scenty awning for your caravan ;D ;D ;D ;D

fab tips! Just to add my own - if you have a dress or underskirt clinging to your tights or stockings just wipe your legs over with a Bounce sheet and - no more cling! Hairspray also works well on static cling.
Any of the supermarket own tumble dryer sheets work just as well as Bounce but I like the make your own idea even better.

btw - what's a yellow jacket? Is it a roadworker? If it is why is he in postie's pocket?

Thanks for taking the trouble to post the Bounce tips. I'm new to this site, but I will definitely be trying out many of your tips. I'm always looking for simple (but usually better) ways of cutting down on elbow grease or getting rid of unwanted guests (ants, wasps !!!) etc. Appreciate your consideration!
