New Red Offer

  • Like everyone else, signed up mid-Feb, just got email to say decleor gifts have run out and giving me the option to cancel the subscription (which I've done). Talk about gutted.

I have a tube of the face mask that was on offer. Bought it 4 years ago as a treat. Wonderful stuff. Been eeeking it out ever since. When I saw this offer I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. It was a dream come true (battling on small budget in order to pay off debt).

I'm guessing that Red Mags are perfectly within their rights to offer something like this and then withdraw the offer?

Same day i signed up for some other freebie thing via this website. First time I'd done that. Problems with the other freebie thing too. Got an email saying the offer had been open to fraudulent use due to exposure in chat forums, so may not get that offer either. Are these offers really too late by the time they've hit here??
£2 coin savings = zero (I never get any £2 coins 'cos the rest of you are hogging them in your piggy banks!) :rotfl:

Hi, did they send the email as a reply to one you sent them or was it automatically sent?

I also subscribed on 14th Feb and havent had an email, but then again I havent emailed them about it.

    TIA Kelly x

    Hiya,

The email just came out of the blue - I haven't contacted them at all. You never know you may have slipped through the net :D

Fraudulent use? That's a new one on me... surely the marketing department has to take responsibility for responses on a product offering, including "word-of-mouth" promotion. An internet forum is no different from groups of friends talking, just larger scale (as someone who works in marketing and specialises in the online variety - I would never dream of blaming the customers for being too many!).

Good point! I agree with what you say! But it seems to me these companies can just decide to withdraw an offer like this. Seems pants to me. Surely an offer is like making an agreement and they should honour it??

I got the same email - so have cancelled the subscription - at least they made it pretty easy to cancel.
  • I received a letter also saying the gift was limited and had run out by the time they received my subscription, so I have cancelled also. How did you all cancel?? I have sent an email and cancelled the direct debit at my bank. I reakon they should have at least offered an alternative!
if you cant have what you want, be grateful for what you have :T

As I had given them my email address they sent me an email which jsut click here if you want to cancel - two clicks later it was cancelled and I then received an email confirming the cancellation. Very efficient!
