Fab spot! Pay £6 for six issues of Red magazine plus a Decleor skincare set worth £49.
This involves signing up for direct debit though, so be sure cancel well before your first six months are up - otherwise you’ll be charged another £15. Why not use the MSE Tart Alert to get a free reminder?
(This thread is from the original Magazine offers thread but has been split for ease.

Just received the free Decleor Hydra Floral Coffret. Its BRILLIANT with full 50ml size Hydra floral cream plus three other Decleor things. In golden gift box. Very impressive- almost too nice to give away...
In case you are wondering it was the offer from the RED 6.00 subscription, earlier in this thread.0 -

I've done it before with Good Housekeeping, just cancelled my DD with the bank.
Thanks OP, just signed up for this, I like Red magazine anyway so this is a result!!Mortgage-free wannabe!0 -
I just signed up, and noticed that they take the £6 as one payment.
This made me wonder (as I have never done this before) do I cancel the DD right after the first payment is taken? If I do, will that affect the 6 issues being sent?
Or, do I still wait until October to cancel (as the first payment is taken on 18/04/06)?
Also, do I just cancel the DD, or do I notify RED as well?
Sorry for all the questions!

I always cancel immediately the first payment has been taken - i will forget otherwise and they will take another payment from me
i have always got the magazines afterwards and i have never notified the company i have cancelled
The only time you have to be careful is if the website or offer specifically says "12 month minimum subscription" - but this is usually pretty clear if this is the caseSee the stars they’re shining brightEverything’s alright tonight0 -
I don't think that you get the Decleor goodies until you pay the £15 direct debit, am I wrong - has anybody received them when they pay the first six pounds?0

Just ordered mine - thanks.
Hope we are right about cancelling the dd after the frst £6, as by memory, I fund red to be pretty awful! Nice freebie tho - thanks :happyhear0 -
Magazine: Red
Subscription Term: 6 Months Direct Debit @ £15.36 + FREE Decleor Skin / 1st 6 Months Direct Debit @ £6.00
This looks confusing!! I am assuming that you only get the decleor set if you pay £15.36 or you can opt to pay £6 and not get the set. Is that right?0 -
Yes, I think people have received after just paying the £6. It does say: "Sign up to Red and get 6 issues for only £6 by convenient Direct DebitHelenNicholas wrote:I don't think that you get the Decleor goodies until you pay the £15 direct debit, am I wrong - has anybody received them when they pay the first six pounds?
....
You’ll get a free Decleor skincare set worth over £49" on the first page.
However it also says "6 Months Direct Debit @ £15.36 + FREE Decleor Skin / 1st 6 Months Direct Debit @ £6.00" on the next page- as if its one or the other...? I can understand your confusion.0 -
i've just phoned customer services about cancellation policies - they recommend cancelling after the last payment has gone through - so in this case, I suppose it means after the £6 has been taken you can cancel. Apparently the bank is the one you should notify - they then notify the mag. or you could do both - but at least tell the bank.
I signed up through the website but got to a page that didn't allow me to do anything else with - they were unsure as to whether I'd signed up or not - anyone else had this problem???0
