Nationwide Member's ISA Bond - incorrect rate quoted

Nationwide Members ISA Bond interest rate has just gone down to 0.75% but I've just been looking at my online banking and have discovered that the MEmber's ISA Bonds that myself and DH hold are quoting interest rates of 7.5%. the bonds we have aren't on a fixed rate or term so I would have thought they should just be 0.75% - I queried this with customer services who advised that the rate is 0.75% but couldn't explain why the rate quoted on my statement is 7.50%. Only thing they could suggest was, was I looking at the number correctly! Duh!

Anyway, my question is can N/W be made to honour the interest rate that is being quoted on my statement - if you think worth pursuing with them would appreciate any advice.

Thanks

I doubt it. It doesn't form part of a contract.

If you could show financial loss as a result you would have more chance. For example if it prevented you switching to a better account because thought you were getting 7.5% where you were.

Since you clearly haven't been fooled and phoned to make sure I'm afraid I don't think you have a leg to stand on.
