everytime you get searched by one of the unhelpful ones it goes against you

you just never know whether its gonna be a yes or no (normally its a no though :mad:)

well we just heard from new letting agent and we have passed the checks but unfortunately the guarantor hasnt as apparently she has ccjs. not sure where to go from here.they even had a reference from our current agent but still need a guarantor.what a bummer!:mad: thanks for your replies.x

by the way,hubby going BRin april but has missed 3 months mortgage payments.this obviously hasnt shown on his credit file yet,not that it helped us lol

Hi there

I have just begun renting only been in for 2 weeks. I was upfront with the letting agent and said that I may not pass the credit checks. I had a guarantor ready in place just in case. Could have knocked me down with a feather when they had told me I had passed the checks. Only problem is now I go BR on the 30th March and not looking forward to telling the landlord. Good luck
