Sony Ericsson W580i Slider Phone

Hi, last august i bought a sony ericsson slider phone, but now the slider is really hard to move.

The phone has not been dropped or damaged in any way, just the normal everyday use.

Does anyone know if this can be repaired, or if it will be covered under the warranty.
