VM Offer - Customer rights?

Hi
Well I set up my Broadband M with Virgin last year, on the offer that was advertised as £10 a month for the first 6 months.
After complaining about their shoddy customer service i managed to get a nice reward of another 6 months on top of that at £10 a month.
Then I went online to get an ebilling discount of £1.
Bill at this point has been £9 a month for the last few months.
Suddenly, some fool at VM went in to wipe off discounts. And decided im not allowed this discount.
I complained again...and they said it was a mistake...
Come this month, I get a "new ebill" saying its £11 a month then £1 discount, and 20p vat refund. So bill is £9.80.
Now then, on the VM contract, it doesn't mention no discount, it just says the original price and the length of the offer (originally i refused to sign it as I thought they'd change it, and not honour the contract - but i gave in when they said it goes by whats on the computer.)
Anyways, now for the last 5 months I been paying £9.
So why would I want to pay 80p more, when thats not what i signed up for.
And why wasn't i notified?
Does a customer not have rights? I've spoken to their monkeys in the call centre on numerous occasions all of them up till today have confirmed i was on £9 a month after ebill discount...so why should I pay £9.80 just because they think "noone checks their ebill, and we can get a bit extra if we want..."
Now yes it is 80p, but it's the principle of the matter really more than the money....
she said (the floor manager) that i had to pay £10 just to get a copy of the notes on my account - which incidently don't quote the £10 i was quoted originally, and was paying the last 5 months....
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:mad:

The mention of £10 for a copy of the notes on your account would likely be the common fee for a copy of personal details when requested under the Data Protection Act.
As for the mistakes, all of them could sound like their IT systems messing thing up. Don't attribute to malice what can be explained by either stupidity or bad programming.0 -

U were lucky to have a bill for 9.00, Im on the 10.00 a month rate for 6 months ( also expecting this to be extended due to shoddy CS)
Rate im paying is 11.00 less 1.00 online billing discount = 10.00. less 2.5% VAT discount = 9.79 approx0
