I have had trouble with SS. The main problem is slow service even though i have used their free trial i have got much better service from Sainsburys. I have now cancelled the trial but i am still waiting for a dvd in the post! I hope it doesnt turn out ugly.

Been with SS for over a year now and can't really fault them, I think its luck of the draw?

I had been on free trials with all the rest (might as well take advantage eh?) but SS has the best all-round package - they also merged with VIdeo Island which increased their stock of Dvds even more

just waiting for them to start stocking PS2 games then I will be happy!

WARNING: Those of you thinking the grass is greener...

Lovefilm/Sainsburys DVD promise an unlimited service, but if you return discs quickly (i.e. the next day or two after receiving them) your service will be downgraded. Various explanations are given for this, but the short of it is that they are not making enough money out of you.

I have been told that ALL of their customers can expect delays of up to FOUR days before another disc is even put in the post. This level of service is abysmal and amounts to bait and switch...misleading customers. Sack them!

you damn right its misleading.
signed up with lovefilms 3 for 1 offer and they wait till friday to send the dvds as so i recieve them on saturday. in which case il probably miss the saturday post to send it back same day and itl be sent on the monday. they will always say they recieve it by wednesday (still send it out by friday) or thursday and then the same process over again. and this is if im lucky.
and the two dvds lost in the post, i dont know why, but i think it a conspiricy. oh yeah, i have over 115 dvds in my list.

will try back with screenselect after this lovefilm offer has ended, but by the looks of it, it seems that their serviceaint all that great either.


but its seems that he fre trials are better than the actual service.
