Strange things are happening - can't get outlook to run and things hanging for ages before loading.
Ran malware bytes and nothing.
have now run Hijack this but have NO idea what this log tells me.

    Rik, followed your instructions above.
    Downloaded, updated and tried to scan using superantispyware but on two occasions it gets about 7 mins into the scan and reboots the computer!:eek:

    Have run CCleaner, Adaware and S&D earlier yesterday evening and nothing showing.

    Reboot and keep pressing F8 until safe mode selction screen pops up
    Select SAFE MODE and scan with SAS

    (Only try once if it does crash)

    Have tried several times to do this but can see no reference to safe mode.
    All I get is a sub window asking me what I want the default boot up device to be.
    What am I doing wrong?:eek:

    Yours must be a weird setup (99.9% of computers use F8)
    As you could try all F keys and find they DONT work (I really have no clue which to try personally) the easiest way to get into safe mode is boot till the 'XP FLAG' screen comes up then pull the plug. On reboot it should auto boot into safe mode
