Mortgage not shown on experian credit report?

Mr Apples & I have obtained our credit reports using Experian free 30 day trial. Our joint mortgage does not show on either report. It does howver show on our Equifax report which I also jus did on free trial.

We have just been turned down for a Post office credit card despite excellent credit info on Experian (other than motgage missing).

If post office use experian would the missing mortgage be a problem, shouldn't it show on there?

Not all lenders share data through all three agencies, so there can be differences and apparent omissions. As long as your Experian report shows you have paid other credit agreements off on time and in full in the past, this shouldn't be a problem for you. Might be an idea to get back in touch with whichever lender underwrites the Post Office's credit cards and ask them why your application was refused. Only they can tell you because only they know.
