My house is double fronted so i have two lounges, both at the front. The road can be quite busy at times so it would be nice if one was in the back.

I live on an estate where bedrooms are downstairs, living rooms/kitchen upstairs - on a hill - so you get a better view of the sea-lochs and mountains...

    Sounds beautiful...

Interesting this has come up, We are buying a terraced at the moment, so no views front or back but a quiet street, but we are trying to figure out where would be best for the living room.

It seems cosier to have the living room at the back but that means you have to walk through it to get from the kitchen to the dining room at the front!

If it's a city centre or on a busy street, then I'd prefer it at the front so I can see what's going on outside!! I do enjoy a bit of curtain twitching!

    Ha ha! me too :)
