    Evening everyone

    Welcome new people

Dusty - hope you and yours are feeling better this evening

Hugs to all those who need them.

Reasonable day at work. But, I think my DW may be coming out in sympathy with G&B's. It's on ANOTHER cycle now in an attempt to get it to do last night's dishes for me. If it doesn't, I can see I'll be spending my evening washing up by hand!

As well as the kitchen, I need to:
    • Invoice
    • Speak to upstairs about insurance
    • Pay elec bill
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

    Hi Guy's:hello:

I'm in in spirit, if not totally in body as another very hectic week...

Also now have DS home permanently... Long story - short version is that he has finally broken the camels back with yet another straw and has been sent home on study leave from school and at the moment they are still considering chucking him out of college too... seems to have hit home now, but it's a bit late. Also means that he will not get into the college he wanted to and obviously will not get back into the construction college that he has just been chucked out of either, so it's looking like Macdonalds for him... :(

So upshot is he is here annoying me. But will be getting on with quite a bit of school work when I'm chasing him up - he's not getting off that lightly...

Loads going on at work, we're really busy which is great, but house is beginning to look a mess again. I am going to try to do at least 1 hours worth of cleaning a day to keep on top of it, but don't hold your breath... :o

Hope everyone's well - sorry not had chance to keep up with you all, how are you doing Lady Liberty? Hope you're resting loads... ;)

Anyway, just letting you know I'm in the land of the living and will pop back when I have done some work (cleaning as opposed to other).

    Failing miserably.

Ran errands this morning, then got sidetracked by chap from old haberdashery in Ottery selling off stock - a boot full of wool, needles, patterns, etc for £11!! Bargain of the week! Anyhoo, came home, settled down (I too knit with !!!!!!! :D And Jessica!) and as a result, haven't flown at all yet. So, here's my pledge.....

I am going to get off my b*tt and do it now. If I'm not back in 2 hours to report a sparkly kitchen, please feel free to whack me with a wet fish.

Hello everyone my name is Jo and i think i am addicted to cleaning. I have cleaned every day for seven days. OOps wrong thread
I went to work today and i walked in and had to tidy up. It was unreal it was as though i had never waled in and noticed the mess and it really bugged me.

I got home from work had my lunch washed the pots. DH went back to bed as he works the night shift and has split sleeps as he picks up ds. All my cleaning has to be quiet cleaning on mon- wed lol.
    Well impressed with myself.
Made some choc muffins using some terry's orange segments as not getting eaten and will be soon out of date, so i cluttered up the kitchen before i cleaned it. Whilst timing the cakes i deep cleaned the microwave. I removed the cat from her sleeping place in the middle of the dining table (so ds can't reach her) and cleaned the table and chairs of cat hairs !!!
DS eating his tea and dh and my tea is in the oven Jacket potato and chcken with side salad.
Jobs a good un oh and even had chance for a half hour power nap as ds nodded off and i didn't want to move and disturb him;)

JEALOUS! I might whack you with a wet fish even if you do the kitchen! I was drooling over wool on ebay earlier, but will have to wait til I can afford it.

Does anyone know how to get white board pen markers off my fridge , DS has been using them to do sums.

I'd try baby wipes. They are marvellous at removing whiteboard pen!

    LL - Huge hugs

    - belated welcome ... if you were subject to some of the things me and teachers/TAs put to the male colleagues in our section of the school where I am then you should survive fine here ;):rotfl::rotfl:

And I've forgotten the rest :o Sorry :o:o

Well I've set too with DD's help - I asked her to vacuum the kitchen and the livingroom rug (we had a soot fall last night) while I washed the dishes....I turned round to find she'd moved the armchairs & sofa and vacuumed under them  She's 7 - I didn't she was strong enough to move the furniture unless she was throwing herself on it! :rotfl::rotfl: So she's done the livingroom and the kitchen for me :D I did the dishes, and cleaned the kitchen as much as I could before she got in there ;)
