I've been to the gym... been nagged... don't have to go to Pilates and yoga tonight as dismantling my bed & cleaning the bedroom counts (kind of) as exercise
.
First load of washing in from the line (except duvet cover which has been turned) and second one out to get some fresh air before being tumbled. One pillow case being bleached to get the hair dye out  . I'll have lots of ironing once it's all in..
So I've got a busy evening ahead and an early start tomorrow. I'll do the kitchen & utility room properly tomorrow after the bed delivery, and possibly get ahead on some other areas. I'm also going to try to fit in a decent walk!0 -

Emptied about six boxes of books into bookcases. I think I've got another six left but that can be tomorrow. Various other things put back too. Then I sat and watched Being Human. It's very tempting to just keep going but I have to go to work tonight so there's no point in doing my back in completely. I've had a cup of tea and my ibuprofen so I should be OK.
If I get DH to put the boxes in the back bedroom before he goes to work tomorrow it will be easy to unpack them. And I'm hoping he will go up in the loft too for a lampshade I think is up there.
Oh, and the washing is dry, folded and put away.0 -

No, I don't mind. It's a bit of a long story but the shortened version is that I am/ was a primary Headteacher- combination of the Local Authority & stress/ depression, is resulting in me leaving, despite having/ had the support of governors, staff and parents.
It's all in the negotiation stage but I will either be looking to go back to teaching which is what I enjoyed, or starting a new career- only I am not sure what at the moment. At the moment I am having counselling for stress management and am on medication (ciltopram). I am forcing myself to lose weight and not to withdraw from everyone, although I am not finding this easy. I still feel like a failure and that I have let down the children, staff, governors, parents and school but when thinking rationally about it all it is the best decision and will hopefully mean that my wife can get back the man she married and not the pale shadow I have been for the last few years.
I have been a member of this site for a few years but have only recently ventured into the old style area as obviously our income is going to be drastically cut very shortly and I was looking for more tips to moneysave. My wife works part time but we have never seemed able to get on top of the house- especially due to the 'help' of two monsters so I am hoping that the flylady way will help us in that area. I am meal planning and have always enjoyed cooking so with the spare time I have been developing that and saving money again that way. Mrs B is taking on extra hours when she can and when I get an end of service date I can look into seeing what benefits we can apply for (probably nothing as there will be some money for redundancy although not a lot). Once I have a date I can also start looking for jobs but as to what, I am not sure. Confidence was destroyed by the LA and it is taking a while for it to come back again...... Watch this space I guess
Anyway as a male primary teacher I am used to bantering with women so I am looking forward to becoming more involved on this thread (in between the cooking and cleaning) although I do have to say that !!!!!! van Dyke does nothing for me lol
Oven is going now and then will be off to skittles so will be back later
