Went on a course about arthritis yesterday and they discussed Glucosamine in depth. If you want to know more about it, I've got my notes. Apparently you need to take at least 1500mg a day to see any benefits and it should be taken with Chrondroitin (most supplements contain both) - but do not take these if diabetic or have a seafood allergy. HTHGreenbee - my aches today are more due to the onset of arthritis I think than anything else. Having looked at the possible side effects of having an epsom salt bath I think I'll give it a miss thanks! The joints are easier this evening - my knees are only creaking now when I get up and the hip pain is gone. I might start double dropping glucosamine..."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

I had just about given up hope too froddy and greenbee and then I decided to have one more stab at online dating as i was fed up to be going to a wedding on my own yet again....I fired off 2 quick hello emails to guys online 10 minutes before I caught the train to the wedding....I'm now married to one of them!! And no, it wasn't a case of being desperate and settling for whoever...he's what i'd been looking for all along!Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0

Flower if your library hasn't bought them tell them to look up where derbyshire libraries are getting them from -they are very popular...
I have a friend who had her first at about 44 - pleasant surprise I believe and a healthy boy!
and Froddy I have a thingy (that is the technical term then
) maturing next week - and they have had a stiff complaint from me about their mishandling of the maturity payout! :rotfl: I have been utterly unimpressed. Interestingly everything has all ended up under the same company with takeovers and everything. Sadly the bulk of it must go to OH as the final installment of his divorce settlement. To be wasted no doubt:mad::mad::mad:
He already had 20k, bought a car and still begrudges the pittance he gives me to support his 5' 10" food guzzling phone losing son and his daughter...

Rosepink - thanks for the extra info about glucosamine. I'm actually on a smallish dose at the moment which keep things at bay mostly. I'm beginning to think I must double the dose - particularly on days like today when it's been difficult
Toots - the trips to Italy explain a lot!
Frodders - you are very kind! I could do hampshire and would be the handbag minding lady - as long as you didn't encourage me to dance - my knees would never cope!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
