I knew I had missed an important hug last night.
'All go painlessly' vibes coming your way for the dentist. Having toots holding your hand really does help.0 -
Good morning all - hope all my friendly flypeeps are ok. Just popped in to see Fridays list - is Pigpen ok? Or just very (understandably) busy?!
Im ok Toots thanks. Have just had a lot on this week; work has been very stressful and Im not really liking it at all at the moment to be honest. On the plus side looks like me and Mr Jo are gonna be able to work things out. He came round on Wednesday night and we talked for ages so thats looking promising. I forgot I was due my contraceptives and couldnt get an appt with the nurse in my practice until later next week, by which time it would have been too late, so i had to go to the Family Planning clinic, which was awful. Nothing more sinister, dont worry Toots.
It was full of teenage girls in for pregnancy tests and chlamydia exmas. They were all shouting at each other and laughing and just being generally obnoxious. There were a couple of women like me, sitting not really knowing where to look or what to do. Anyway, the doctors and nurses were seeing all these girls first (to get them out as quickly as possible I imagine!) so I ended up having to wait two and a half hours. Poor little one was with a neighbour. But its done now, so hey-ho......need to be better organised next time.
Will pop back later from work to see if theres a list - other wise its a terrific opportunity for me to catch up!! And you fly ladies who are better organised can have a well deserved day off!!!
I suspect however, our illustrious leader will be here soon!! :rotfl:
Love and hugs to all who need them and I love the new mantra!!! Positive vibes for all, have a good day xxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Didn't make it to the gym this morning either
. Well, it's COLD outside! I'm doing my physio though, and will probably drop in for a quick workout on the way back from work (assuming I finish at a reasonable time).
I need to try to go for a walk on Saturday (don't think I'm up to a body balance class at the moment), and then Yoga & Pilates on Sunday before my dad arrives... and I have to make sure the utility room is spotless before he starts work in there on Sunday afternoon, plus make sure that there is food for him for the week.
Will clean the bathroom this morning before/during/after my shower. It's fairly clean anyway, so shouldn't take too long
ETA - Serena - happy dentist vibes heading your way!0 -

I've cleaned the shower, bath, basins and loo. Also the shower curtain and am about to put towels & bathmat in the WM (because I wrapped a towel round my head before I remembered about the hair dye and used a good one rather than one of my gym towels  . The bathroom is pretty clean, so assuming it is on today's list, it shouldn't take me long to finish. If the study is on, that won't take as long as it normally does, so hopefully I won't have much to do at the weekend!
Dehumidifier is on, as there's a lot of condensation this morning. I didn't have the heating on last night, as I didn't realise how cold it was, but there is ice on the inside of the north-facing windows downstairs  so I put the heating on while I was having my shower.0
