FTB or not?

Ah so that's his "get out" if he gives a wrong "opinion". I like it. lol0

We were in a similar boat recently. We raised it with the MA and he didn't really seem to know. I think the best advice is simply to ask each prospective lender what their definition is.0

The OP told the Estate Agent his true situation.
The Estate Agent said that he considered OP to be a FTB.
The Estate Agent will bear that in mind when dealing with the OP.
The OP is a "Chain Breaker" as he has nothing to sell.
He-man has taken a logical approach.
Can a person who has bought before be a first time buyer again.
He-Man's logical answer is no.
My answer is still YES................................I have put my clock back....... Kcolc ym0 -
Who monitors the accuracy of the posts on here, if anyone?
I thought this was Moneysavingexpert.com not stabinthedarkopinions.com.
Is anybody accountable for the posts or is this board a complete waste of time?
Who are the "Experts" and who are "Well intentioned but unqualified"?
How do you tell the difference unless they say so?0 -

If i were you I would have nothing more to do with it as it is could be a complete waste of your valuable time. On the other hand you seem to have made a major contribution to this thread and you might be able to make similar valuable and insightful comments in other threads................................I have put my clock back....... I'm sorry if I've offended you in some way. Are you an expert? If you aren't, then why are you answering peoples questions? Have I got the wrong impression about this forum? I thought people came on here to get advice from Experts.
It doesn't seem that way and it appears you are happy to get benjo into trouble by telling lies.
Sorry if I'm wrong but what formal qualification do you have to be giving out advice like this?0 -
MSE forums are not a resource for expert advice on anything. There ARE some experts who are members here but let's face it, anyone can claim to be such can't they?
If anyone wants expert advice then they should seek it out through the proper channels (including using forums where people may be able to point someone in the right direction).
Anyone taking any opinions or advice as gospel from a forum full of strangers is risking that advice not being the best for them.
However, most people come on here wanting opinions, a helping hand, guidance etc. You don't have to be an expert in a certain field to help someone out based on your own experience.0 -

I can't think why you should think that when all you are doing is correcting what you believe to be errors.

What makes one an expert witness in a financial court case?
"I saw him go to the Cash Machine M'lord" lol.
You seem to want to help and you say you've been an expert witness and yet you encourage somebody to lie about financial matters. It just dosn't make sense to me.0 -
Thankyou SandC.0
