Beat cheapest broadband

Having seen the recent offers for cheapest broadband with Plusnet and Bethere I called my provider (BT) for a MAC code.
15 mins later my current subscription was halved to 7.33/month initially and after relaying the deal to the operator a further 2.00 was taken off for the next 12months.
I'm happy to stay with BT and now pay 5.33 for the next 12 months.
No change and some 120.00 saved for the next year.
The credit crunch is helping anyone that wants a better deal, cutting your bills has never been so rewarding.
