Apologies if this is obvious to "oldies" but it wasnt to me, so will hopefully help someone else. Thought about this on the way to Boots today (yes i do need to get out more lol) and tried it and it worked.

The Stay Perfect Foundation is £3.50 in my local-i picked up one and an Extracts body wash (£2.61) and went to pay-handed over perkie, which took £5 off total spend and then both 150 points coupons (AC and Mag) so was left with £1.11 to pay + 300 points + both products. Obviously a mini would leave around 13p to pay with 300 points but still thought this was a good way to boost points!

As i said, apologies if old news :D

Have just seen on Boots store locator that there are three branches at Canary Wharf! I know the one opposite M & S, and I know the one with the SS tills next to Waitrose, but didn't realise there was a third.

    The locations are listed as:

    Canada Square
    Cabot Place
    Cabot Place East

but on the map of CW, there is one listed at Cabot Place West!! So are there four branches? :j

Getting so excited for tomorrow! BTW, DH no worse, and as 'e said, I mean he said "Yer got me for an 'ole lot longer Gel"!

    xx

On topic, anyone know any good products at BOOTS to stop my Husbands horrendous snoring?

I tried these plaster type things that stick around your mouth and hold it shut. They were really good, but you need to make sure that your nose is clear?!

    Bought them from www.britishsnoring.co.uk/

I know this is off topic but has anyone heard from Mimi?

SOPHIE RABBIT + JEDITEACHER: Thanks for asking after me. I am fine thanks. And Dad is back home too, 4 stones lighter, no hair and supposedly getting better. Hmmm indeed! Thanks to all for their prayers and support. I've not had chance to post about this before as I have been rushed off my feet trying to do everything at home and work at the same time. Not easy. Sorry, I won't go on about it, I don't want to get shot as I have heard there has been some purses being thrown about. Eeek!

I've also decided to hang my Boots purse (not that I have one, I'm a man you see!) up temporarily. Recently I was going into Boots just for the hell of it and spending at least 2 x £5 on stuff just to get the skincare/haircare/no7 vouchers. After consideration I just thought stuff that, I'm not going to spend money just for the sake of it. Worst of all was I threw loads of vouchers in the bin as I never got round to using them. I was going to hand them out on here, but it's always the same people that want the vouchers and I don't think that's fair. Talking of which what am I meant to be using my 8 x £5 No7 vouchers on (might as well use these up before I stop Bootsing)? If I can't find anything super cheap I may just hand these out, will let you know. Also, anyone know of any real products that might clear the blemishes on my forehead? I'm like a pin cushion now! Even the Dr Nick Lowe spot gel does nothing for me!

Did 1 last lunch shop there. I got 1 x sandwich @ £1.40, 1 x chocolate bar @ £0.59, 1 x Brecon 1 litre water @ £0.46 (half price cos I am a health club member). Total £2.45 and it was classed as a MEAL DEAL. Give this a shot if you want to spend less than £2.99.

Re: purses and catfights. Don't hit me too, but I was just going to say if someone says something you don't like or agree with, just ignore it or turn a blind eye to it. If someone says something nasty about you, email the abuse team instead of having some major pursefight where everyone joins in. It would be such a shame if they pulled this thread as I see it as a friend/support/advice thread as well as bargains and glitches. It's a big shame everyone cannot get, but such is life.

Re: some glitches are mistakes by Boots, but others are simply to get rid of stocks. I mean come on, the 1p TS products last year. We all made a huge song and dance about it, did they pull this offer? I don't think so! The same happened with the HE and the 100 points, the old Gilette Series and the 150 points, the Charles Worthington clearance and the hairy's. The list goes on. I don't see what the big kerfuffle about posting glitches is. I have a feeling there will be a No7 glitch soon, probably the till spit voucher and the glossy purple one as in my opinion the No7 GWP is just so not going anywhere.

Anyway, enough of me for a while. Hope everyone and their family are in good health. Hugs and prayers for everyone that isn't. Thanks again to everyone for their support. Happy Bootsing etc.
  • Hi, well it's taken me 2 days to catch up, but I've finally made it...phew!

Still not managed to get any of the reduced Gillette sets, probably as I don't really know which they are! Please can someone confirm if *this* is one of them, as I'm sure it's in one of my local stores with full price SEL...TIA!

Thanks to everyone who posts on here with help and advice, although I think I am getting addicted and running out of hiding places for all my bargains! :o

:j Also thanks to minimoneyme - glad u liked the brag book, thanks for the perkie and choccies xx
 I have this theory that chocolate slows down the ageing process.... It may not be true, but do I dare take the chance?

    Hi Karen Mac

I picked up some of the No. 7 foundation today for £3.50 and also a mini S & G Flakeaway and one of the Botantics facial packs, gave over my £5 voucher but it didn't take £5 off my whole shop just the No. 7 so I had to pay for the S & G and Botantics. Sorry if it's a bit confusing but did you use a SS till or go to one of the manned ones? Thanks
