I put all my Perkies in one section, then my 250 points from the GWPs in the next, different ACM vouchers in separate sections, and that way I never get muddled. And it's bright red, so I can locate it easily in my bag.


Off to hospital again tomorrow, DHs turn - such an exciting life I lead!

I got 2 Silver ones in the 75% sale for 37p each!!!. I went to a new store today and got 2 Olay Green GWP with the Definity £5.82 cleanser. However SA would not let me use points as the till beeped. Is this right?? Also got 2 Gorgeous Zebra Mirror and Handbag Hairbrush sets for me and DD. Hope all goes well at hospital for DH tommorow. I am off on tour ( working with my sisters catering co) with the Specials in April so will be going to Glasgow, Sheffield, Newcastle, Birminghamm, London and a couple I cant remember. So many new stores hope there are some good offers about!!. Happy Shopping

Oooh Honey68 you beat me to it!! I was gonna say to everyone that I had seen some cheapy little photo albums in As** for 51p - they've got them in pink (as Honey68 said earlier) and also turquoise & also White - I bought several of the white as you can change the front cover so thought they would be useful for vouchers plus crafting things! HTH

The original idea came from passion8 who got them at silly prices. :T :T She's a trendsetter that one

I took the covers of 2 of them (as I found them restricting) and sewed them together through the middle. So I have one big fat one (IYKWIM) I found I couldnt fit everything in the one. But I must admit they are so handy.


Just noticed yours is 7 x 5. I use the small ones as I can keep it in my hand or pocket for a quick draw.:p

Moyilla asked about the order of handing over your stash of vouchers and things. Always give the points first with the right hand, holding on firmly to the other things with your left!

If the SA asks for them all, or tries to snatch them say "Oh, I'm sorry, this must seem so daft, but my sister/best friend/cousin/Doctor says I have to hand these over in a particular order".

I hand the points coupon first, and if I have a shiny one and an ACM one, I give the shiny one first, then after the points I pass over non Bootsy ones, if applicable to a particular product like "£2 off Huggies nappies" sent from Mr Huggy, and I then hand over the Perkie, Shmerkie or whatever last of all.

There will often be some tut-tuts, deep intakes of breath, muttering, and possibly a comment like "Well, you won't be able to use these", at which point you say "Oh dear, do you think not? But could you please try, I would be so grateful".

They may be examined minutely in the hope of spotting a forgery, but even if the queue is 3 miles long behind you, hang on in there! Actually if I find a couple of people have gathered behind me, I say "Oh I don't want to hold the queue up. Please serve these people first", smiling broadly at everyone, and keep a rictus grin on my face for so long that my top lip sticks to my teeth.

At this point you will possibly be removed by Men In White Coats. If you are, just make sure you're still holding all your vouchers!

Hi Everyone... about the brag books/photo albums ... I seem to use most of my vouchers before coming home, so I haven't used my new brag book yet. The vouchers must burn a hole in my purse, cos I end up getting more things with them, before I leave the store .. it must be cos the bigger stores are not local to me + when I do go shopping, I tend to have an idea as to what to spend my perkies, etc. on before I go out.

Hi Polls It's great this lol, I keep getting thanked for thinking of using brag books as voucher holders, but it wasn't me I'm afraid I'd love it if someone came forward and said "It was ME" LOL.

You'll have to take a pic of how yours looks if you would polls? I'm still using the mini one stuffed with vouchers (o.o.d. probably ) and if it starts to look any more like a concertina, I'll be playing the blo*dy thing :rotfl:
