Went to Fort Birmingham today as had to do an errand, couldnt contain myself, a whole new Boots to browse!!!!!

Anyhoo tried the santuary gwp but with a mini body scrub didnt work. Now on reflection and looking online this item isn't one of the "selected items" so it could have worked, must take a list of the "selected" items next time!

They had a great clearance section, got some NO 7 scrub and P&P after sun. I also got 2 extracts items both under £1.50 so used ACM's and technically got them free too!!! Also got a radox shower gel down to 50p and a nivea quick touch self tan spray down to £1

Olay gwp were around but i didn't bother this time

No Gillette putting sets although there was one on display but thought that was a bit cheeky lol!

They had admit it sets in with 1/3 off

Bought £20's worth of baby stuff to get the triple points and i included mini mode clothes which went through as bogohp as well.

So all in all a good trip imo!

Does anyone know of any offers on Gillette items other than the putting set? I need a gift for a male just something cheap n cheerful!

    Thank u xxx

Hi do you mean the gift bags? cos if so they are free I,ve been putting one in my basket everytime I buy some S&G stuff. But i did ask a SA to price check and it came up 0.00 so maybe these would go through without any purchase, I just haven't tried. xx HTH;)

They are priced at SEL as £1 in my local, I havent tried one through the till though.

  • Badger Balms reduced to £1 in Redcar today - about 15-20 on clearance, saw tangerine, ginger... Unfortunately OH accompanied me, so I couldn't focus on anything, and came out empty handed...
then went back in and grabbed a (new) mag!

Right ladies, when doing a total spend transaction should the extra points coupon be handed over first then the money off coupon?

    For example

Save £5.00 when you spend £20.00 on S&G
500 points when you spend £20.00 on S&G
Save £5.00 when you spend £20.00

    Which order should they go?

I have my lists all made for tomorrow, I just don't want to fall at the last hurdel with coupon's falling out everywhere!!

    Thank you

Does everyone use these for vouchers? Seemed a bit on the small side to me although very pretty! How do you fit them in please? I want to be more organised and not miss out on offers - found some wrinklies/hairies that I didn't realise I had! I could have had more free hand cream! :p
    SNIPPED (too much, sorry!)

I would be lost without my brag book. It's 7" x 5", and I got mine in the 75% sale for about £1.20 :D and it's great. I put all my Perkies in one section, then my 250 points from the GWPs in the next, different ACM vouchers in separate sections, and that way I never get muddled. And it's bright red, so I can locate it easily in my bag.

I've looked back through loads of threads and can't find the name of the poster who suggested this (was it you Polls?) cos I owe them a huge thankyou for their suggestion. :A

Not only that, when I produce this at tills, the SAs invariably say "what a good idea" and so do shoppers in the queue behind me!! I used to fold up my 2 for 1 meal vouchers and put them in there too, but so many restaurants are offering them, that it got crowded!

So I put those in a photo envelope instead, and write down on the outside which vouchers I have, and any restrictions, like "Never on a Sunday", or
"Monday - Thursday", and at the end of the month I tear up those that have expired.

Sorry for being irritatingly organised, but it saves the embarrassment of producing a voucher at the end of the meal, only to find that it was out-of-date 2 months ago! :o

Off to hospital again tomorrow, DHs turn - such an exciting life I lead!

    xx
