  • I think we need to remember what this place is. It's a Forum, def: "a public meeting or assembly for open discussion". We are a group of like minded people who are here to discuss the best way of taking advantage of Mr B's generous offers. If that means that we sometimes stray "off topic" and throw in our anecdotes about what happened on the way to Boots, a funny experience with a Boots product or even a nostalgic moment prompted by another post then IMO it's perfectly ok to do so.
    :D

Yes. I was thinking about the chat when I was waiting to go for a session at the gym, where we always chatter. I know loads about some of the women there. And thinking about it, when I had a run in at school (some years ago) about DS2, they heard loads about me and my school-phobic child, and were really supportive. Whilst we are a group of people pulled together by a desire to get fit, we also chat. Some of them have started going off for coffee afterwards, I've been invited and chose not to. Isn't it the same here, in fact isn't it natural that some of the people who've been posting here for years will have gradually built up a virtual friendship which includes divulging what they want to about partners/children/housework/pets/places to hide Boots goodies....
On topic - have been to Boots, nothing I wanted but bought phone top up with points, SA not very happy to even try but I gave a big reassuring smile and said 'I'm sure it works'... and of course it did.

Just a thought... back to lurkdom!

Can we all have a group hug :grouphug: though I agree this looks like a group rub!!! And there are three words that cost nothing - Please, Thankyou and Sorry.

I always try to remember to hit the Thanks button, and if I'm looking for something I try to remember to say Please, and if I've ever forgotten either of those - I'm Sorry!

Sandra - very well said. Just recently I've noticed a few people in particular who seem to ask a question that is more like a demand, no please or thanks and they never seem to hit the thanks button either. I ignore their questions now as I find them rather rude!!!!

Aww hope you feel better soon - what are you wanting to swap for? Are there any pinkie items you are after or other vouchers, would you prefer a nice packet of goodies instead of bits of paper?
  • Have just ordered 2 of the sanctuary mothers day sets, with 2 handwashes.
Don't really want them, think i could swap them instore for something i do want?

Sanctuary seems to work with the one item, if u want multples (2 or 3 etc..) appears can onlyt get them by re-order, even if ur low cost item is oos u can add something else thats part the offer (next lowest cost item).

    cheers me dears xx

Put Sanctuary Nourishing Body treats in basket.
Add any Sanctuary item included in the gift promo to your basket.
If you want more than 1 gwp, add another item included in the promo, then go to your basket.
You need to alter the amount of gwp, adding the number that matches the other non gwp items you have.
Ie; 3 items, change gwp to 3, then press 'update basket'...et voila...job done.
Hope this helps anyone having problems with it. :)
