Just found a jar of the Olay Definity Anti Ageing cream in the clearance section for £6 so decided to buy it and hoped that the green box GWP would go through without a problem. Well it did...YAY...but the till also took off another £5 as the range is on offer at the moment, this particular item is 'normally' £24.46 but on offer at £19.46! It cost me just £1 :D

It's certainly worth looking out for this range in the clearance section!!

    Good Luck Everyone!

I saw these in my local today,no GWP about, came up with £5 off so £1.26 to pay, would she sell them to me - no chance, tried to scan them every which way she could, thought she would give in after 20 mins but she went and found the manager and they found a way of putting them through without £5 coming off, queue was huge at this point so I was too embarassed to say oh sorry I dont want them now and the till gave me a damn survey. Spent £12 I can ill afford at min so might have to take them back. Did get a nutri heat hairdryer for £12.74 paid with points, checked on website £35 so happy with that

My package is coming via Parceline, apparently it's been despatched. When I go to track it using the Parcel ID number, it keeps saying "Your search did not find any matching tracking. Please refine your search criteria."

All my dot.com orders (and there have been lots:D ) have been delivered by parceline, and not once have i ever been able to track the order. But they've all turned up safe and sound, so try not to worry hun.

Just wanted to say thanks to Mimi & Bubbahut as have just successfully ordered the sanctuary bits & also MF bits too - feeling very pleased with that as I am planning a Sanctuary hamper for my friends birthday!!

Off out now to do some actualy Bootsing so wish me luck!!

Also just to add my tuppenth worth - after being missing for about a week yesterday was my first chance to get back on here & spent yesterday afternoon catching up - a bit disappointed on my return by the air of 'negativity' I have to say!! As SandraScarlett has said - lets all be friendly! :kisses:

As my old nan used to say 'if you haven't got anything nice to say don't say anything at all' & on that note I'm off Bootsing & wish all you lovely bootsers luck on your bootsing adventures!!

Oh well done on your hairdryer, that is such a good price:T Its a fab hairdryer, you won't be disappointed. I was a bit sceptical when i first started using mine, but the little cartridges definitely do make a big difference to the condition of my hair.

Sorry for being snappy, but as a lurker you look in and all you see is snappiness so I thought you were being that way too. Will slip away quietly now :o

Aww...you have got us all wrong...the boots thread is full of happiness, not snappiness...honest! :)
I do agree that for newer forum members, our jokey manner can be hard to decipher.
Jazzteddy remembers her first post :o ....
At the time I thought...Here I am being so brave, posting on the 'Boots Thread'.
Where they have invented a whole new language
Talking about pinkies, blinkes, wrinklies, perkies, blueys, bluey-twoeys, gwp, ootw,
sel, SA, SS (not Madame Scarlet.. lol) tills, wyb, wys, etc,etc,....which I now have to go away and study!

But everyone helps each other here and you soon pick up your full degree in bootsing! :)
Am off to admire my lovely Sanctuary gwp's now.....:D

I think we need to remember what this place is. It's a Forum, def: "a public meeting or assembly for open discussion". We are a group of like minded people who are here to discuss the best way of taking advantage of Mr B's generous offers. If that means that we sometimes stray "off topic" and throw in our anecdotes about what happened on the way to Boots, a funny experience with a Boots product or even a nostalgic moment prompted by another post then IMO it's perfectly ok to do so.

Nobody who contributes to this thread is doing so to provide a service for MSE or anyone else. The legwork is done by those people who are out and about every day trying out the glitches in Boots. They then come home and write up their experiences for us all to see, all this while trying to cook dinner and look after partners and children, often while holding down a full time job too.

The fact is that the members of this forum all contribute what they can, some of us may be limited by time or a lack of cash (my Bootsing trips cost a fortune by public transport and I won't stand at the bus stop on my day off for anything less than 50% off and a GWP otherwise it doesn't make economic sense) I tend to just post when I've managed to find something mentioned previously, I don't think I've ever found any new glitches.

So please, anyone who gets cross because they don't feel they have the time to sit and look through a few pages of posts, please spare a thought for those who shop and post regularly and give freely of their time so that we can all have bargains. This is a discussion board and not a service provider, we all get out of it proportionately what we put into it. Long may the chat continue, as far as I'm concerned if it's loosely Boots related and it includes more readers than it excludes then it's what adds to the charm of this board. If you have to spend time looking through the posts then surely that's much easier than having to go out in all weathers and hunt through the shelves in Boots, here the thinking has already been done for you.

If you are just reading this and haven't yet joined MSE then please think about doing so, come and join in, it's much more fun then just checking in now and again and hoping to see a neat list of the latest glitches. :D

Thank you! As it is my first time ordering from .com I wasn't sure if I was maybe tracking it wrong, but you have reassured me now
