went to Lancaster this morning, no bargains:o loads of model me stuff and they also had some treseme conditioner clearance to £1.50 but that was about it.

got 3 meal deals - sandwiches were triple ones reduced to 75p x3, 2 packs of walkers reduced to 25p and a £1.07 bag of mini eggs and 4 bottles of diet coke ( 2 for £1.50), also bought an extracts mini for 1.62.

came to £8.90 and I got 328 points back - thought that was great but just looked at receipt and was charged 48p for each bag of crisps:mad: how dare they eh;) it says at the bottom of receipt that I have now bought 3 meal deals and only need another 2 to get one free - do I not need a card or something to validate this?? sorry, never bought a meal deal in boots before?
I think you will get your 6th one free as long as you pay for them by the same means ( ie all with points or all with cash ) and as long as you present you AC card. You could be lucky like mimi who got 2 free:p

Meal deals 6 for 5 paying with points: I hadn't spotted this before, but even when paying with points for the meals they count towards the 5 necessary to get a free one in a month period. I hadn't tried this before, because I thought I had to pay cash to be eligible for the free one. Sorry if this is duplicate.

However, I am not sure about amelia'smummy post... I normally pay cash and on that one occasion I paid with points and it still assumed the number of meals not how I paid for them...

Oh, a couple of tips from my SS till transactions today -

Don't buy little bath sponges on an SS transaction unless you want an SA to help you - they're not heavy enough to register in the bagging area :rotfl: .

And the La Roche-Posay sets will show as an unrecognised item if you SS them. They don't need scanning at all (SA reliably informed me - she was the one who pointed out the hand cream voucher inside the box to me as well). My advice would be, if you're picking one of these up, take it to a manned till.

I took one La Roche-Posay set to a manned till, it beeped and the SA said I had to buy something to get it. I now regret not standing my ground and telling her it did not say that on the box, just that they were free. So be prepared to argue a bit.

    Hi Everyone :hello:

havn't posted for much of the week as my shops have been boring and fruitless, but a couple of questions for you helpfull girls and guys, has anyone printed more than three of the extracts points voucher from the ACM? or can we assume that Mr B has pulled these

Also Mum has a temp card at the mo, I know she can collect points with this but is she able to spend them form this card or will she have to wait for permenant card to arrive.

    TIA

    VQ

I had 3 from the main menu, and 3 from the Bathroom extra button on the ACM (thanks to the Op who posted the tip)

No more reduced urban decay (sorry I had the last 3 :o) and they didnt have any pencil sharpeners.

BUT they have got the purple olay gwp, black sparkly MF gwp and Vichy gwp. AS well as the current olay gwp, current MF gwp and obviously the no 7 gwp (cant move for bumping into the NO7 ones).

Was quite excited as never seen purple olay ones in the mall before. Also the sparkly black MF ones had all been put away when I was last there but obviously they have decided to put them all out again.

Was quite a lot on 2 clearance shelves, No7 exfoliators, mediteranean (sp) stuff, reduced sanctuary sets (although they were still pricey), also lots of kid (age 2-4) oral b tooth brushes for 50p, got one of these as seems like very good price.

Got a couple of No 7 accessories with my perkies, no problems going through the tills. No 7 SA didnt think it would work, but happily tried and was surprised when till send yes. She said she will get some now! :D
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

Still no sign of my Santuary order - delivery date is for today and the HDN site says it was loaded onto the van today. First time a delivery hasn't come earlier than the stated delivery date.

    Good morning all,

I have a few perkies burning a hole in my purse! I have tried using them for buying a R&M iliner brush and till seems to beep. Have mangaed the n07 nail buffer set but want to try and get more accessories. Is there a list or does any one know what accessories the perkie works on? Does it still work on the moisture gloves for example?

    Hi

I bought the 3 pack of muslim cloths today, which are great for cleansing. They are in the new style packaging and are priced at £5.50, so 50p if you use a perkie. HTH

They are probably bogged down with all the sanctuary orders as the 'offer' did last a long time, well longer than usual !
