You do know that it's the weekend? And Martin does actually have a life? I think that comment was really far too harsh. Get a grip for goodness sake. ... Does it really matter whether MSE put a banner up or not?
Martin seems to think it does.....

..... Then again, given todays lack of a banner, maybe not. :p

Does it really matter whether MSE put a banner up or not? I can sort of understand the welsh people may be feeling let down as they do put them up for other things but is it really the end of the world? Sorry but I just don't get all the fuss. :)

I totally agree...why have banners at all?

Strange that MSE single our St David's Day year after year to ignore...if they're gonna have them then have them but make it consistent.

Hi folks,

As I say in thte other thread... basically this was a mess up. It should've been there, it was designed and ready to go. The button to activate it wasn't pressed that was all. I was off line and didint see it and by the time i did (11.30pm) unsurpringly non of my technical staff who know what 'button' to press were online. So we've put it up today. Im so sorry. Having studied my postgrad in Cardiff I know how important St. Davids day is

So you are suggesting that the forum says its going to put up banners on weekends when they dont have the facilities to do so? I'm not sure accusing MSE of such dishonest practise is a nice thing to do hun.

Er and you got that from where? Talking about twisting my words  All I said was that it was weekend and MARTIN has a life and the person who said Martin personally couldn't be bothered was too harsh.

And I still don't see what all the fuss is about. If they didn't put a st georges day flag up I wouldn't be causing all this fuss.

What if they put up EVERY other holiday though even fake !!!!py ones like Valentines day but for the last 3 years they forget st georges day. Would you not be a bit miffed then?

And if you wouldn't be, its not our fault if your not patriotic.
