£2.49 spent already this morning
They are doing an offer in a paper to get a Watchmen themed flash drive and I had to buy it for t'other half! It had to be paid by debit card, so I transferred the money into my account and have put the £3 (£2.49+change) into my PAD piggy.

Raychee
Think of not just how much the jacket will cost you to buy but also how many times you are likely to wear it. Will it go with lots of outfits? Will you wear it in Summer as well? I try to consider cost per wear with new clothes (this is how I justify designer jeans- cos I practically live in my jeans)

Hi All
Just checking in...brought lunch from home today and will be tucking into some of the choccy I bought yesterday and a can of pepsi, so, hopefully should be a NSD.
Horrible weather here today, so really glad I don't have to go out to get a sarnie!

*shuffles in hanging head in shame*
Hello all,
Well, my plans for NSDs went out the window, on Sunday
I didn't exaxtly keep track of where it went but I've got about 48p left in my purse. On a plus point though, I'll be getting some NSD practice in for the rest of the week as I'm determined not to exceed bugdet.
Next week will be a better week I'm sure.
Well done everyone else BTW, this thread is such a good help. If it wasn't for this thread I daren't think how much I would be getting through.

The little jacket I want is £30
But I chose not to buy it - today....
I wanted to wear it over my sleeveless dress. I think the white fluffy one I have isn't bright enough (if you get what I mean!). I'm tempted, but chose not to - for now...Natwest CC - [STRIKE]£2545[/STRIKE] now £0 :j
Overdraft - £2668 - to be cleared by February 2010

Lula I have purpled you well done :j
Tixy I think the cost per wear is a good measure as I recently read in a thrifty book that it is better to buy more on expensive classic clothing less often than to buy cheap clothing more regularly. I think there is some truth in that and an approach I may try to adapt.
Beencounting it has been raining here too it makes me sad.
babs at least you are trying to stick to your budget if I was in your situation I would be tempted to think sod it.
Raychee your jacket is a very pretty colour.:D
Anyway for me today I spent 55p on a caramac (remembered I can eat these as I have given up chocolate) and 65p on cup-a-soup as just fancied one. Then (hangs head in shame) I had KFC for dinner only a kids meal so £2.89. So total of £4.09, oh well going to try the NSD again tomorrow if at first you don't succeed and all.:rolleyes:Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30
