    Received the item back today.

I am going to claim through paypal for my money back now, i'm not spending another £5 to send it back to seller again.
Ive never opened a dispute on paypal before is there anything i should or shouldnt put/ say?

If i tell them the seller said i could return for refund however seller didnt collect item from post office and item has now been sent back to me.

    thanks for your help

Be ready to provide proof it's fake if required.
You could put in the tracking number if it shows that they failed to pick the item up. (Check on the RM site first)

I wouldn't bother putting that you tried to return it, just state that the item received is fake and you require a full refund.

Just out of interest - what is it? And is it easy to prove it's fake?

Do you mean provide proof as in pictures of the item?

Ive been on RM website and put in number and it does say left a 'while you were out card' it doesnt say its been returned to me though.

Its an abercrombie & fitch jacket and i own other abercrombie items which i have bought from abercrombie stores and this item off ebay is clearly a fake, loose threads, bad/uneven stiching, over all quality of jacket is very unfinished.

    What's the item?

You need to take it to a shop/expert that sells that item, and get them to give you some sort of written confirmation that the item is fake. Scan it so ebay people can then look at it.

Do NOT send fake items in the post.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

    What pinkshoes said.

Unfortunately knowing something is fake isn't generally enough to convince PP... you need someone to confirm it.

I'd report it to Paypal & wait and see what they request, I've had them refund for fakes without proof a few times, maybe it depends on the item [A&F is SO commonly faked] or who you get...just start the ball rolling with them for now. I think telling them you'd returned it would be a mistake as they may suggest you try again, the stance you want to take is 'This is fake, I will not be returning' - you needn't return fakes.

Would a photo be good enough to show it's fake? You could try emailing a photo to the London store and ask if they could verify it for you? They OUGHT to be interested, as the prices they charge one would hope they'd like to get rid of fakes!!

Have you contacted your local Trading Standards too? They can usually help with this sort of thing.
