I'm not on the electoral roll (norwegian nationality) but still got an platinum card with them. 4.9% for the life of the balance and 8.9% on pruchases. I don't know my credit limit yet as I've not received the card but I know that it's more than £2600 because that is what i wanted to transfer from my barclaycard and this was done when i logged into my account this morning.
But I DO have a perfect credit history with settled loans, current loans, Credit cards etc and not one single missed payment.
I hope the limit is around £5k as that means i could transfer all my other balances to it and have a wopping great 4.9%......that would make me very happy!!!
PS! When i applied to the cahoot flexible loan the declined it......which made me quite upset! When I appelead and said i'm not on the electoral roll due to my nationality but I can prove my residency etc they still said no. i don't think they really read my appeal though. They're just required by law and so they say they have an "appeal process" when actually it's a person writing "NO" on a number of emails/letters. I've now applied to the EGG flexible loan...let's hope they say yes...i've got an egg card with no missed payments0 -
Got £5100 as a limit!!! That means all my credit card debt can be put under this card at a rate of 4.9% with some to spare. And that's withoout being on the electoral roll. Although I do have a notice of correction on my file stating that I'm not elegible to vote and that proof of residency, nationality etc can be obtained by request/
Now all I need is egg to tell me yes to their flexible loan and I've gotten as low as I can with interest rates for the time being...
