Am declaring at £230 for March it is a bit rough, but am pretty sure it is more or less correct, had a funny month as was away for a weekend and had my twins birthday to sort out and lots of visitors etc. so am not doing too bad, although I am now already at £74 for April and we aren't even in April yet officially  will be aiming for £250 for April and am going to say that is up to the end of April completely....I don't know how I will do with Easter and I am going to be away for a week as well, but I have really been finding by doing the challenge it really makes me think about what I spend (and not pile too much random stuff in my trolley!!)

So good luck all for April, this will be my 4th month and I am so chuffed at how much my bank balance has been looking healthier since doing this challenge...

Hi all, I've just had my Asda delivery (and the very helpful man helped me carry it all up to my second floor flat, whilst OH stayed late at work - after checking what time the delivery was due  ), so I can now declare March at £220.34 - and officially under budget!!! :j

I'm very pleased, as I'm hoping to reduce our shopping bills so we can start repaying our hideous overdraft. Let's hope April is even better!!

My App Foods order arrived today - so I've now added that to my spreadsheet.

I'm now officially over budget for the year to date - by £6.95, and with 24 hours still to go before I declare.

However I'm well stocked up on loads of stuff, so after the middle of April I'm hoping to see very low spends (milk, fruit, veg, bread and some meats) for the following 10-12 weeks.

I'm also looking good on my Whoopsie Spend / Whoopsie Value figures -- but a lot of this is down to AF. There is one item (cost £1) where I can't find a 'real' value - but the rest of the order cost me £18.43 for goods with a shelf ticket value of £132.03

  • Hi all

I am declaring 24 hours early at £209.43 :j :j . The extra £40.57 will be added to my stockpile money which is going up month by month. If I keep doing well, I hope to have saved enough to keep Dec at the same amount, even though all the family will be back and fore lol.

I expected to end with an empty freezer this month, but thanks to M&S 50% off Oakham chickens, butchers mince on special, and me buying prawns then finding the pack I just knew I'd bought the previous week  , stocks are very good.

Thanks everyone for all your ideas, support and friendship.
