Dads day went brilliant for him, the church was full, the piper was my cousin Andrew, he just had a brilliant send off the sun was shining, 1 hymn , and 3 songs, Dance with my Father Luther Vandross, cut me up. He had so many flowers.
I would like to thank everyone for the thoughts and kind words over the last week or so, but we have to get on now, it,ll be hard, but we will.
We are also now the proud owners of a new nephew, who was born, 5.30am Monday morning, apparently hes a right chubber, Louie , William(after dad) Kian are his names. Anyway thanks:A

Chris, I am glad your Dad had the send off he deserved and hope he was looking down from heaven with a smile. And a new life too - wonderful! It is early days and grief is a funny thing, if you need us you know where we are so just yell.

been trying to find a local dentist that will take on new NHS paitents but they all say no.!!! is private really that much more expensive???I can only please one person a day.... Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either!!very greatful for almost everything i read on MSE (except for the nasties!)0

I don't find my private dentist actually that more expensive for the run of the mill stuff, maybe it is for root canal work, not sure! It's the same here, impossible to find an NHS dentist so we've had to go private. I think I pay something like £35 for a check up.
