is it not in your contract that illegal substances arent allowed on the property? I know you don't want anymore trouble yourself but you could get them on that?

can't believe people are so selfish when it comes to shared houses I was always considerate, turned volumes down to a level I knew I couldn't hear outside my room and shut up when people asked.. so rude

Back from my lunchtime walk. Bought myself a new purse yay! Little things. Also got a very healthy lunch from boots so I'm sat here munching on vegetable crisps and drinking pink lemonade.

Only a very quick pop in, but didn't want to read and run..Toniq and Munchkim, you're so kind in posting all the comps that you do, and sharing answers etc...I know it's difficult, but ignore anyone that is mean and bitter..

I recently won a coffee hamper, which I'd have never known about if not for Munchkim's post..and look at how many people on here have won. Don't feel guilty for winning - like someone else said, when I want to win something, I'll enter all the comps for that - hence it's easy to get duplicate prizes...

And toniq - how kind of you to post the photobook in here as well, cos I'd have missed it on the main board..

Choosing baby names is so difficult..we came up with shortlists for boy/girl, and then decided to wait and see what we had and then what name they look like (we did choose the middle name in advance)..in the end it was a choice of Olivia/Lucie and we went for Lucie, which I'm so glad about, as she suits it..

Back to work - FE - hope you are feeling better soon

Afternoon everyone hope everyones well,been a bit busy here, done quite a few miles on the bike yesterday, went out with the dog this morning for over 2 hrs, she had a huge swim then we saw the kingfisher


Got home chopped all the wood we have left, got about 4 weeks worth, so lets hope the weather stays glorious

The boilers making very funny noises at the moment so darent out the heating on when it turns nippy on the evening.

No wins to report here apart from the Top Gear one last week

Haven't been in the inn for a while but really need to tell someone this as I'm on my own at home and not sure what to do.....

DD just text me from school she has run away from the Teacher because she called my DD who is 13 a Slapper and a Tart for wearing make-up. Apparently she walked in class room and thought she was putting it on but only went to school in a light foundation ( due to the fact she is concious of her spots ) which lots of girls do. I phoned her and told her to go to a sixth former or the office and get advice. I'm not about to fly off the handle just in case but said the teacher is keeping her back for an hour tonight after school...which she is not allowed to do if I have not had 24 hours notice...:mad::mad::mad:

Well, as the agency won't put me in touch with the landlord or pass on anything, and made things worse last time I complained to them and also they refused to come and see the damage that has been done to my house which mean I am going to lose my deposit because of these cretins...
They won't let me put a lock on my door (agnecy) and said they'll prosecute me for criminal damage and make me pay to replace the door etc, and last time I asked the others to be more considerate they trashed my room to the tune of £4000 as I showed in a photo the other week. I can't do anything. I am just sitting here going crazy in a tiny room with impossible housemates.
