right, I'm off to bed, old housey leaves on a 10am train tomorrow so probably should get some sleep! night all x

    Hello night owls :D

Feeling more relaxed now, been an absolutely tense day: got up and staright viewed a new flat, lost all my horse bets, and no wins at all, no PhD work done whatsoever, not many competitions entered, Man U losing  had severe migraine (AGAIN :( ).

Just had a shower and my first Brandy...God, water has magical powers!! Migraine gone and just starting work :D

Aww. Sounds like you had a carp day, hope tomorow goes better for you!:D
House moves are really stressful, but just organise and label everything in advance, and it should be better for your blood pressure!;)
Make a list of what jobs you need to do, and it is so satisfying when you can finally cross something off your list!!;)

Sundays are quite boring days, so maybe you could do your phd work tomorow...right after entering some comps of course.;)

Thanks Sally, finally someone who understands!!!! :o

I will have to work very hard...I have not much time left..btw, well done to you on submitting, I am glad you feel more calm now. I admire you for being committed to your studies and to such a demanding job at this young age..Very impressive and hopefully you will have great career prospects.

    Night Gemma. xxx

I absolutely love little babies...dressing them, changing, feeding, bathing, etc.
Its once they start walking that i go off them!

Im too immature to have kids (remember i look 12, sometimes act like it too):o

The bit that scares me is you're stuck with them for life...which is a long time when a 2 year old is trashing everything in the room!
You can't exactly change your mind, and take them back to the shop can you?:rotfl:

Believe me, theres been plenty of times i've felt like giving up, and just getting a pt job or something, but something drives me to carry on.
There is currently a shortage of social workers, that some from abroad, (India, china, etc) are being bought over.
I don't know if there will still e a shortage next may/june time when i graduate.

I admire you too, cos phd is obviously hard. I went straight from school to college to uni, but you had to learn how to study again, cos of the long break you had from education.
A phd is the last piece of education there is, so just stick at it, and think of your salary at the end.:D

You could learn from my mistakes, so you don't go through the stress i did in those hours before the deadline!!
START EARLY - your phd work/packing, etc
SET DEADLINES - if your works due in sometime, aim to get it done a week or 2 before, same goes with the packing.

I've got all these tips in my head, but for some reason i don't/can't seem to use them in real life.
