Morning all!! Had some sleep...I don't know if it was a dream but I think the other human housemate came home last night. I think Ill have to hug him later. I actually want his girlfriend to move in because together, us 3 keep the place tidy but I am too intimidated by the others and their wierdo friends. Roll on June when I can move out.

Good morning everyone.

Many of the prizes I have won have been things I cannot use, as often you enter and win a runner up prize or there are a variety of prizes available and you don't win the one you wanted. Also, some comps are for combined prizes and I do still enter those, ie. a tv plus tickets to an event. As I wish to win the tv I still hopefully enter knowing I could not use the tickets. We struggle to make ends meet and I have sold on a couple of prizes and also given things as gifts to friends and family, and I see nothing wrong with that. If making the best of what God gives me is frowned upon by other compers, so be it, I have broad shoulders!

Good luck with the comps today. I haven't read back, so hope all are well and the sun is shining on a lovely new day wherever you are.

Morning all. How are you today? Lovely blue skies here but wasn't overnight - was horrible weather rain and windy and rubbish!

Already dressed which is not like me for a Sunday. Thought I'd get my run over and done with earlier than normal. The 10k is on 29th which is only three weeks away so I'm getting a bit worried I'm not going to be able to do it in an hour (my personal goal - see my blog!). Is still quite windy today so expect that will affect me running - make me slower/more worn out - hope it's a clear still day on the 29th so it's as easy as possible!

I agree with you SOD. I have never yet sold a prize though, or won anything that major though.

I really want one of those coffee hampers on the wild bean cafe comp - not fussed about the holiday and i've already got a senseo but i NEED the hamper :rotfl:

im against selling of prizes why not give them away you got them for free anyway
i gave away two tickets to man utd chelsea vip on here i believe they were worth £525 each

The mad trojan on my lappy has caused havoc, it's from fb maybe? thankfully techie guys are helping though it is very scary, paul still in bed getting rid of his non smoking shakes?!?!!? xxx
