Blimey, I'm sick of hearing taliban and shooting on tv. Hubby is watching Mitchell bro (can't remember his name) on sky with the troops.
God bless the troops, they shouldn't be there, and am honoured at what they do for us, but hubby has had it on all night!
He reckons he can't abide Mitchell bro, but likes watching what goes on with the troops.

Oooh Ross Kemp (oh yeh, that's his name:rolleyes:) can't stand him personally.
From what I've heard in the background, it seems like they are working in the same situation I'm in. Government funded, in other words, not enough.

Anyway, enough political stuff, my wine is going down very nicely.
Whose of to KFC tonight then!
Or am I going to have to settle with cheese and biscuits!

    Agree!!
This isn't our war...what are we even fighting over?!?!

Sad about the Zimbabwe president being in car crash, and his wife dying...defo think it was planned!!
Hate Mugabe...hes got so much blood on his hands...and no-one is stopping him...cos of human rights...same reason murderers/rapists are given 2/3 yr sentences in nice warm cells, with regular meals, computers, telly, games, etc, that many people can't afford!!

Biggest wish is that there'd be no more killing in the world, and everyone got on with everyone else!!

Gingerchick, that was cmcconnell who went to kfc at midnight, and goes late-night shopping:rotfl: but shes gone to bed now, so think we'll have to improvise and satisfy our hunger cravings by either going down to the fridge, looking at pics of food on the net (virtual food can't stick to your hips!), or comping to take your mind off the hunger, which is what im doing!!

May just have to raid the fridge for cheese and biscuits!

Just had a deep convo with hubby about our situation atm.
Him being very proud sometimes thinks he's failing the family being an at home dad and not earning the money.

I remind him of the fact that even though I was at home for the first 7 years of their lives, they will probably remember their dad being home, and mum always out at work.
All those toddler groups for nothing:rotfl:
Nah, I hope I instilled in them a good ethos.

    Our plan is going well.
Once the kids get to secondary school, we both get jobs part time, and that should work.
    He actually agreed with me!
    That makes a change!:rotfl:

Aww. Thats god you're talking, and hes listening!:rotfl:
Most couples i know don't have meaningful convos!
and, some of the men in the family have lost their jobs since last year, so the women are working...it is role reversal...but lack of jobs available means they are stuck like that for foreseeable future!!
Just tell him to enjoy time with the kids...cos he'll probably be complaining when he gets a job that he doesn't spend enough time with the kids! :D

I think kids can remember upto about when they were 4/5 years old, cos i can only remember upto then!
So they should have memories of you and your hubby looking after them, and know you will both care!:D
