Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

Well I guess sort of redundant... I've been contracting, working on a large acquisition (big enough to be a reverse takeover) but the Board have reached the conclusion that they can't raise the finance to complete so its not going to happen.

It actually suits me just fine - I've been hating the last 8 weeks - there just hasn't been enough work to keep me busy, infact there hasn't been more than 1 week of work in the last 8 which I've absolutely hated. Hence being on MSE so much.

Now I get time to do the things I want to do, like kitesurfing and working on losing some weight... and learning a few more Jamie recipes :D

What are you guys all up to this weekend?

Well, getting things back on track, I'd like the MSE minister's to be well qualified for their new jobs, which reminds me of this from last week's Private Eye:

Who is the odd one out of this lot?
    Lord Stevenson, former chairman, HBOS
Andy Hornby, former chief executive, HBOS
Sir Fred Goodwin, former chief executive, RBS
Sir Tom McKillop, former chairman, RBS
John McFall MP, chairman of Treasury select committee
Alistair Darling, Chancellor of the Exchequer
Sir Terry Wogan, presenter of Radio 2 breakfast show.

Answer: Sir Terry Wogan. He is the only one with a banking qualification.

I miss most of the daytime stuff....sometines, I quickly look when I am eating but don't read properly, bit like glancing at a paper whilst chomping.

I am a very disciplined self employed person too ;) .....I could spend most of some days reading, writing, thinking on here and other boards. Used to it now (took over 2 decades) but fighting procrastination is my now my No 1 skill.
