I understand them too, OH still struggles, we've only lived here since 2001!

I don't understand how people don't get the H & V roads! My OH (Bristolian... now there's a crap centre to drive around) thinks they're great and can navigate them with ease - even to the point of taking the less busy diversions!

No experience of the HMC I'm afraid Gaz, let us know how you get on (if you do!)

Any recommendations for reasonably priced hairdressers in MK please? I need my highlights done and I'm not happy with the way my lady did it last time.

Are there any offers on at the moment anywhere I wonder? If not I'll probably go back to Zigzag at Westcroft or Regis at House of Fraser, both of which did an excellent job but cost an arm and a leg.

    Thanks

Let's see... the OU is on the V10/H9 and you need to get to the V4, between the H5 and H6... it's about 6 miles

Went up and the guy seemed like a very nice guy. Didn't end up getting the car as it didn't have ANY service history but the garage seemed like a good garage. The owner was very honest about the car he was trying to sell me.
This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

I don't know what their prices are like for highlights, but I had a cut and blow dry by Mel at PowerCutz in Bletchley (near the Leisure centre) and it was very reasonable (less than £20) and she did a lovely job.

The H and Vs are pretty easy to understand. Appears daunting to start with but it is bread and butter when you realise it is purely a grid system

Is anyone able to recommend a tree feller (or woman... lol).

I have a couple of overgrown monstrosities in my back garden which need removing and I wondered if anyone else has had trees removed before - if so, who by?

The old MFI store on Watling St in Bletchley has been taken on by these guys - http://www.leelonglands.com/clearance.asp saw workmen putting up the signs today, but didn't see when the store will be opening, sorry.

    Hi,

We had a tree removed at the Bancroft Meeting Place by these people

    Trim a Tree
    Office: 0800 783 1665
    Mobile: 07939 145353

They did a good job, but I can't remember how much.
