Anyone know if Online Energy Saver 4 gets the reduction?
Apparently not - the SP site still has September prices displayed for that tariff.

I have just phoned Scottish Power - they confirmed that Online Energy Saver 4 tariffs WILL NOT REDUCE !
According to the "Energy Advisor" I spoke to " People on Online 4 are already getting the cheaper prices" ???
They suggested I swith to the Pricesure tariff (= cheaper Gas but more expensive electricity) - but I worked out that based on my annual usage it was slightly more expensive!
When I asked how they could justify not reducing prices when wholesale prices had fallen, the reply was: "SP have taken the decision not to reduce prices for online 4 customers"
What a shower!
When I've reduced my balance (due to the high winter gas usage) I'm definately switching - I'm fed up with this lot

What new prices?I have just compared what I currently pay on Online Energy Saver 4 against the new prices starting March 31st and the price for gas and electricity all go ..... UP  (by up to 15 % !)
The ones on their website are the ones effective September 2008
(see link post#14 )
SP also informed Stefano that prices were not changing."Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
But that doesn't seem to include Online Energy Saver 4, hence why I gave the link to that specific tariffJust go to the website and click on Online Energy Prices and it gives prices, quote "effective from 31st March 2009".
...
If I'm wrong, could you advise which page of the document on general domestic prices refers to Online Energy Saver 4 please.
There is reference to an 'Online Energy Service' discount which gives a discount on their normal prices of £5pa for gas & £10pa for electricity (both exc VAT), but I thought based on the link I provided that Online Energy Saver 4 was an entirely separate tariff as unit prices differ. There has been no change in this discount for 'Online Energy Service' from that offered in September 2008 (although unit prices have obviously changed/reduced in some cases, but not all)"Now to trolling as a concept. .... Personally, I've always found it a little sad that people choose to spend such a large proportion of their lives in this way but they do, and we have to deal with it." - MSE Forum Manager 6th July 20100 -
No change here either (standing charge, white meter, quarterly payment).0
