Phew, I think I'm caught up now! If I have missed anyone off the list, just shout!
Plzhelpmesave - well done for putting last week behind you and jumping right back in! We all fall off the wagon sometimes (I downed a whole bottle of wine with chinese curry and chips last night.) The important thing is to acknowledge it and get back on track.
Do you log your weight loss on the calorie count site? If so, why not go back and remind yourself how well you have done already, and then get focussed on keeping the trend-line going down hill!
We can be so quick to beat ourselves up over the odd blip - we must ALSO remember to praise ourselves for the progress we have made (and are continuing to make)
Monday weigh-in looms... must go and eat some breakfast and drink some water!I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
Oh! On the subject of drinking - while I was in Turkey I learned to make a yoghurt drink - it is so simple it is ridiculous. I really like it and I find if I sip a couple of glasses for breakfast, it sets me up for the day.
Recipe - One large empty plastic milk or juice container, one large pot of low fat yoghurt, 0.75 litre water. Mix yog with water in a jug and pour into plastic container. Shake well. Adjust water to achieve desired consistency. Shake well. Keep in fridge and drink.
You can add salt or sweetener to taste, if you like. It does tend to separate, but that's normal, just give it a shake before pouring.
Remember to count the calories in the yogurt, and be aware that the cals given are usually per 100 gm, and a large pot is about 500gm.I'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -
Well i weighed in this morning at 150.9 lbs hmmmm I can't seem to shift any weight but my clothes fit loads better! Another thing I have noticed since eating more healthy is the condition on my hair. I used to wash my hair every day, sometimes twice a day as it was so greasy. Now the last time I washed it was Friday night and its fine  . Haven't been able to do much exercising today as its tipping it down outside but have tidied the whole house and will do my Davina dvd laterVirgin CC=£2652, Next= [STRIKE]£102.88,[/STRIKE] Very=£475.60, Natwest=£800, Sainsburys CC=£1777.02, Lloyds CC=£498.29, Lloyds Loan= £13,946.18, Car=£4000Total = [STRIKE]£26,147.23[/STRIKE] £23,849.09:eek:0

Hiya everyone
I haven't posted for what feels like ages, I'm still reading everyone's posts though. Everyone's doing so well, keep it up!!
I'm feeling so demotivated lately, I'm trying to locate my get-up-and-go that I had at the beginning of Feb's challenge. I only lost half a lb this week, but Ive done little or no exercise so not really surprised. I had most of last week off work and cleaned my house from top to bottom so that was my exercise for the week!
I'm getting back to my dvds this week (think I said that last week as well ) and walking for at least half an hour each day if I can. There's no rubbish in my cupboards or fridge only healthy snacky things so I won't be tempted. Loving the idea of that yoghurt drink it sounds yummy. I've been buying those fromage frais in tube things and freezing them so they're like ice lollies and having 1 if i fancy something sweet.
Here's to a good week everyone!!!!! :jAll the coffee in Columbia won't make me a morning person...

Hi everyone!
I haven't posted on here for a few days, been hectic at home so I haven't had time! Well done to everyone for all your efforts, and congrats to all who have lost.
Tara - thanks for the info about fitness dvds. I'll look into them now I have more time
OH's parents and grandparents have just left after visiting for the weekend. It was really lovely although I feel like I spent most of the time cooking in the kitchen!! I feel like I've eaten so much so am feeling a bit rubbish, although a lot of it was veg and salad. Maybe I just ate too much of it?! My snacks (1st time in a good while) were 2 scones and jam yesterday, a mini choc chip cake and a digestive biscuit today - I suppose at least it wasn't chocolate!
Weigh in on Tues although I'm not holding out much hope. MIL bought a lovely dress today for OH's brother's wedding in August and it made me realise how much I want to lose weight for the wedding.
Have a good week everyone!Latest Wins: Mr Motivator workout DVD, 5 Itunes downloads, Ipod Stereo Dock, Tea, Ipod Nano, True Crime DVD set, Family Pass to Legoland, Eye Pencil, Seeds, Anita Shreves novel, £150 ASOS vouchers, Miracle Gro starter kit :j0 -
Not a good weekend for me weight loss wise but I did have a very nice time
so I guess worth it. Didn't make it to the gym because DH and I had two nice long lie-ins, we had very welcome visitors both today and yesterday who also needed fed and I ate with them
and probably worst of all visited some good friends last night who always lay out a spread of nice nibbles and this is where i really went off message. But I have stuck with no wine
so that's something although the cheese went a little by the by.
I had dropped that lb again on Saturday morning and am keeping everything crossed that it stays off.
Back on message tomorrow.
And remember everyone who is struggling, the most important thing is how fast you pick yourself up and dust yourself off after a disaster (talking to myself here as well)

Today was day 3 for me and I am doing very well, I am very pleased with myself - normally I only last a day! I have just done 30 minutes on the wii fit which included 12 minutes of jogging so that is all good.
I plan on walking a few miles tomorrow aswell.Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -
Managed to lost 1.5lbs this week. Not sure how as I went out to an all you can eat chinese buffet last night and made sure I got my moneys worth! It wasn't even that nice though but I ate for the sake of it as you do... onwards and upwards - tomorrow is a new week!0

Hey there!
Would it be okay for me to get in on this, too? I realise it started over a week ago, but I'm new and starting Weight Watchers tomorrow, so hopefully I will at least lose something in March.0 -
Well after suffering my first ever migraine (well that's what the family thought it was) yesterday, which I cured with paracetamol, chocolate, biscuits and full fat coke
whoops, and we had company for Sunday lunch, with a strawberry cheesecake for pud. I think I've fallen off the wagon a bit :rotfl:
Anyhow, weigh in in the morning, so if I haven't lost or have gained, I'm just gonna suck it up and start afresh tomorrow.0
