So take EVERYTHING out, split it in two equal batches and cook it in two pans. Simple. And remember to buy a bigger pan at the weekend0

Nah...it'll be ok...the mushrooms always reduce in size quite a bit. It's just a bit tricky stirring without overspill. If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

The mushroom overspill might be a good photo opportunity....0 -

Progress photo coming soon, but no overspill I'm afraid.
I mentioned earlier that I like the slightly sweet flavour of the Discovery sauce, so I want to add a little sugar, any idea how much?If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

It's looking good. Give it a half an hour simmering, 20 mins if you are really starving, need to let the flavours develop a bit before devouring. Don't forget to add your thickener of cornflour and water etc. Have you got the rice on, don't forget the tortillas too.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot. Ok....so far so good, I can hang on half an hour. It's not sweet enough though....there's something missing but I've no idea what.
The rice will be going on soon, I haven't bothered with tortillas.
And is there an alternative thickener for a bloke what ain't got cornflour?

Do you have any sort of plain flour? But 30 mins simmering will reduce it a lot in any case.
If I were you I'd splash in some red wine (from the bottle I am opening now!) and I'd do the 2 squares of dark chocolate thing. Mmmm...0 -
Yes I have plain flour (BBE Sept '04
), but no wine, and no chocolate. I still can't get my head round the chocolate thing. _pale_

What have you put in for seasoning,
chillis,
chilli powder?
cumin
tabasco
mixed herbs or oregano or whatever
your stock etc
s & P
Make sure it's simmering well, and have the lid on for half the time and then off for the final half of the time, 15 on/15 off to reduce a bit then a bit of flour and water made into a thin paste with some water and then stir in over a medium heat til it's thickened up.“Ordinary riches can be stolen, real riches cannot.
