    Hotpot1000, glad for you that your neighbours have moved. Hope the next lot are better.

    Re: overcrowding. When my son was born we were living with my parents in their modest two bedroom bungalow. They had one bedroom and we (me, dh, dd and ds) shared the other bedroom, it was a bit of a squash to say the least and the drains struggled a bit with five of us using them (old property). We approached the council and they said they wouldn't/couldn't re-house us. We went on the list but were told that we'd never get to the top because the list was so long.

    wow after reading this thread, i consider myself so very lucky, i am a single parent with twin sons, and was given a three bedroomed house.

    good luck to the original poster, and hope you get better neighbours next time.

    i have noisy neighbours, and had to sound proof our home, as i didnt want to move
    enjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)
