:hello: :hello: :hello: from me! Feels like ages since I was last here - and so much to catch up on. Blondie - brilliant that you went to that interview - and just think - if your loony interviewer hadn't talked so much, you would have had to answer loads more questions - MUCH more stressful;) Am v impressed that you have a pair of Jimmy Choos - to be honest they have achieved such mythical status I half believed they didn't exist.
ANYWAY - just wanted to check in and say hey. Week has continued to be horrible - can't wait to see the back of it. But have written a VERY difficult email which should go some way to easing the pressure. :T me!
ROSERED - am thinking of you and your friend - I'm know my week is nothing in comparison to what she (and you) are going through. Just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking of you xOnward and upward - with the odd step to the side
November GC £255/£3000 -
Evening all!
Hope you're all ok.
Well done on the interview Blondie. Even if he is a bit loopy, if they offer you the job you can always take it while you carry on looking...
Wow, what with you all talking about cake this week, the only pounds I'm going to be making won't get accepted for my debts as they are the wrong currency (and you'd have to slice bits of me off to get them - nice)! So, thanks to you guys I've just finished making my second batch of banana and choc chip muffins - now where are my comfy jeans?
I am soooooooo jealous of all this talk of Jimmy Choos - I always dreamed of owning a pair, but I got over it by promising myself if I ever got married, I would treat myself to some then. Reality check - got married, bought 70% off Coast shoes from Clarks (discount) VillageWorking hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Hi Blondie aand all ladies.
Blondie - that interview sounds surreal - sounds like he wasn't properly prepared! Or, perhaps, he liked the sound of his own voice too much to actually ask you questions and listen to the answers. STUPID VAIN TROLL.Hope you have a good evening. Regarding my friend - I suppose I am "in denial"! - the best way to be in these circumstances as I must not allow myself to feel sorry for myself - it won't help her. However, I did drink enough vodka last night to kill a fully grown Yak. That tends to beb how I deal with stress that I can do nothing about. I wasn't at all frightened by "People under the Stairs" - I kept laughing, then fell asleep.
Younghusband is bouncing around like a puppy because it is Friday night and he doesn't have to get up at the crack of dawn tommorrow. I'll have to chuck him a stick or something in a minute if he doesn't SETTLE. I have a hangover - can you tell?
Rosered xxxx
Rupe, Ebonylight, Dozydee - thanks for your thoughts about my friend.
Dozydee - hope the weekend goes as ok as it can - that's shi*te - I have been there too, a long time ago :grouphug: What is with that hug icon?
Ooooof Loopylou! Sounds like Daisy is making an impression -literally!Hope you are feeling better physically
Where's Mellika, our Hartlepool girl? Hope you are all right0 -
Hi Rose
I've just found out that a friend of my mother's, who works with both of us, has pancreatic cancer and the prognosis is grim. I don't think it's really sunk in yet. It was only a few years back that she was there for support for my mum when she went through cancer.... I know it can be really tough trying to be remain upbeat and 'normal' for someone when you know that they are so ill, and it sounds like your being fantastically supportive.Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Hi Red and thanks for that. You are so right - its very wearing when you know they won't get better. Its hard to know what to do or say, so I try to just be normal - I think that's what I would want if it were me. RR X0 -
Because I am sad, and obviously have nothing better to do on a Friday night. I have compiled a list of our hots, nots and maybes from our assorted ramblings.
To go in the hot section a person must have had one vote, to be in the not section (I don't think we actually have any of these!) Someone must have said a person is definitely not hot and not have had a counter claim. The maybes.. they are those with a mixture of votes. I will also add links to pics, if possible:D
Hot- Martin Johnson
- Christian Bale
- Firemen (generic!):rotfl:
- Mr Ben and Mr Jerry :rotfl:
- Fatherly-looking-but-tough CAB advisers (Rupe34!) No picture available at this time

I shall update the list as soon as possible. Seems I missed Zac Effron too. It did take me 2 hours to re-read the whole of Blondies thread! a few were bound to slip through the net! :rotfl:
