All this spa talk is making me dreamy - it's payday for me today (but I am very likely to lose my job in 2 months so I can't spend ANY money!)
I used to work in a spa restaurant. (Champneys if anyone has heard of it?) But have never actually been pampered at one, now how wrong is that!! So I had it dangling in front of me for 2 years while I slaved away in a silly waistcost and tie, explaining to people that, no, we don't serve chips or beer, this is a health farm.
Anyway I have promised myself I will actually do some work today instead of faffing about on this site so I hope you all have a lovely day, good luck with the insurance Blondie, I found that phoning them every single day helped, as laborious as it is!
xx
Hey Catherine - sorry to read about your job - whats going on? (If you don't mind me being queen of nosy);)Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

I really fancy a BBQ now. Hmmm, chicken.0 -
Hey Laura - I'm working tomorrow morning (but it always ends up stretching later and later).

Rupe, worms don't work too well on the bbq, they keep falling through the gaps :rotfl: Try a bit of bacofoil!!0 -

Lol no I don't mind. The company I work for are employed by Marks and Spencers, who have decided to merge 3 sites into 1. So everybody who works at the 3 sites was given a 90 day consultation thingy - everybody is at risk of losing their job!
Was told yesterday that IF I do keep my job, I will have to work Morning/Afternoon/Night shifts. Boooo *insert chicken leg upside down thumb here*
I'm very in denial about it at the moment - my OH has already been brought down to 4 days a week so if I lose my job and can't get another then we lose our house (we rent, and magically our 6 month contract runs out about the same time my job does). If I think about it too much I start to panic so I spend all my time on here reading about everybody elses panic to calm down lol0 -

I'm so sorry to hear that - pretty scary time for you. I totally agree with thinking about something else as much as you can! Shifts aren't so bad once you get used to them - but that all depends on your circumstances.
Keep us updated please ma'am!Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Calling all crazy cat ladies!!
There's a website with looooooads of hilarious pictures of 'lolcats' which are funny pictures of cats that people write what they think the cats are saying on them...it's hard to explain? I don't know if it's naughty to post links but I'm gonna risk it because it is truly crazy cat lady worthy!

It never fails to make me laugh when I start to worry about things...and to put a spin on it and make it MSE...it's cheaper than buying the book the website sell. Lol
God I just read that back and it makes me sound like such a spammer0 -
