Don't go climbing any roofs Rose! My Bro-In-Law's friend did that and well let's just say he's no longer around! Lean on the landlord to get it fixed. One thing, hopefully the weather holds out and you don't get any wetter. What about getting a roofer out and re-claiming the money from the landlord - just more money tho isn't it, mm difficult one.

Tilly, good news with the money from your nan, hope OH gets something soon. At least Easter is coming, yeehah!

Thank you all so much for your kind and supportive words re the XBF. I know this isn't really the place to discuss things like that but you know what it's like when something so massive is on your mind, you can't help mentioning it! I have kept all emails and texts and will be putting it all together for the police. Worryingly I had an email just today from another girl saying he's been threatening her too over the last few weeks. She's prepared to back me up with it all which is great (but scary, obviously!).

Thanks for the tip Swinstie - God how awful to fall off a roof. Ours is very very high up. It did occur to me to try this afternoon, but you need a special ladder called a crawler ladder and I don't have one. Anyway, I am built more like a heffalump than a cat. But I am going to take your advice - I will tell the landllord that if he can't do it I will get someone in and give him the bill! Thanks v much x

I know - the photo you put on here looked like a professionally done one. The photos of the other girls do not look professionally done. D'you know what I think? They didn't choose that great picture of you because it made the other candidate pics look poor in comparison. That is honestly what I think. RR

ruby that is good about that other girl, well not good obviously but its good that someone can back up your claims, you really have to go police as scary as it may be he cant get away with treating people like that.
My ex was a nasty piece of work when we were together and i never went to the police and i regret it now becuase i worry that he will do the same to someone else, but i had no proof and as i was still with him at the time i dont think anyone would have believed me, but it makes me so angry when men treat us this way.... xxxx

Slight change of subject but did anyone see that programme 'Hospital' last night on Channel 4?!?!? I didn't know whether I should be laughing at the drunken idiots or crying for the patients who were seriously injured.........although I did shed a tear for the 22yr old who died
Not sure if I wanna watch the next one.........'pregnant teens':eek: I imagine it's quite scary with the wimpy kids screaming while giving birth, might put me off
