But yay for winning chocolate if you do!
I just discovered a secret lift to the 23rd floor, I'm so excited I can't tell you, it's a right pain having to change half way up all the time. Sorry I know this makes no sense to anyone else but I'm still feeling slighlty elated :rotfl:
Ebbs, do you feel slightly elated or 'elevated'! Our office only has two floors and has as lift which I point blank refuse to go into as it keeps breaking down, got stuck in it for about 30 seconds once and nearly fainted :eek:0 -
should have said impoverished!!!! lolBe your own superhero :j0

Hey everyone
Tilly - what a horrible shock - so sorry to hear your news. Really hoping he can find something quickly. I 'm sending a hug (still not using that icon)
I'm about to go check out the thread that you guys have been talking about - but I know there are some MEAN people on these forums - and it normally seems to be houses/mortgages that bring them out. We have a northern rock mortgage (:rotfl:) and to read some of these threads you would think we were the spawn of satan. (I am fighting the urge to justify myself even now...)Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Afternoon ladies!
Just caught up with the 3 pages that have materialised since I last logged in...
I SAY BLIMEY ALL THE TIME TOO!! I don't know about 'nugs' for cold, Princess but when I think something's rubbish I'll often say it's 'bobbins' which is an odd one.
I can't remember who originally posted that home buyer thread outside of this one but WELL DONE. I am constantly astounded at the rudeness and lack of compassion on other forums. It makes DFW seem like a very fluffy place although there are a couple of worrying posters on this one too, but on the whole it's a nice board. Why can't people understand that we're not here because we're obsessed with banging on about money and telling other people what to do, but because all of us in one way or another has reached a point where they know they have a problem and are willing to admit it and deal with it? It makes me so angry that someone innocently offering a kind suggestion or laying their soul bare and asking for help can be attacked in such a terrible way.
Huzzah for the fluffy pink oasis of Blondie's thread and the lovely chicks therein!
Sorry, just getting my ranty mood out of my system before I meet with hateful-boss this afternoon. He's only one of my bosses and isn't even the highest up the food chain but there something about him I can't bear. I'm liable to spend the entire meeting (which is about me getting more involved in his work - kill me now) digging my nails into my palms and thinking about kittens to prevent myself leaping across the desk and bashing him round the head with his hole punch. Aaaaaaaand....breathe.
Tilly - so sorry to hear about OH. Hope you/he are OK.

That's bad news Tilly
Have you posted a SOA anywhere so we can have a look-see and see if we can spot any ways to save you some pennies?
*hugs*

Yeah Ruby, step away from the hole punch! Pst, use the stapler instead, it makes smaller holes0

Well you are a bunch of chatterboxes!!!! Just had a quick look on that thread and my god they aren't half going for him!!! He just wanted to give some people the heads up...might post something later when I've got over the shame of having a 100% mortgage myself:o:o It was that or homeless, what you gonna do
People on other threads/forums(don't know the technical word) can be Evil!!!!:mad:
Ho hum, there will always be nasty people trying to belittle everyone else!
Tilly - What a nasty freakin shock:eek: Hope you and OH are both ok and I'm crossing everything that he finds something soon, have a non dodgy hug
Still no sign of Blondie I see.............I think she's enjoying the power:rotfl:Debt [STRIKE]£52,656.60[/STRIKE]_pale_£41273.42:)

Yeah SOA was on here a few weeks back as i'm trying to pay off debts. Have cut down loads already but i think we will have to live off very very basic food for a while. I'm already gone down a brand!
Going to go home tonight and have a look at everything and have some kind of plan as not everything can be paid end next monthBe your own superhero :j0
