I think cakes have no VAT but biscuits do to Mcvities had to prove that Jaffa cakes were cakes and not biscuits. Apparently the rule is: a cake goes hard when it's stale and a biscuit goes soft- and jaffa cakes go hardwhen you leave the packet open too long (mine don't get a chance! )

See- there is no limit to my useless knowledge!

I Have a packet of fruit shortbread biscuits at home and it is making me sad as they are there and I am at work Still, will get to scoff them when I get home!

Had to go and raid my bank cos a nice man is doing my roof for me today, felt like I needed a bodyguard trying to get back to my car - some dodgy looking people were about - their pics would never make it on here

Re Jaffa cakes, I can easily consume a full pack, mine don't get a chance to go stale either Laura. Think they sell packs of three in the canteen, might have to look into that!

Mineral make-up is supposed to be ace, my sister raves about it.........trying to use up my foundation just so I can legitimately go and buy some:o Sad eh? Didn't know that about the SPF tho, maybe I can argue it's better for me than the mousse especially with the sun coming out now;)

I had trouble a few mins ago. Wrote a whole post and then it just disappeared!*!!!!!!* gone. Had to write the whole thing again :mad:

And as for addicted to the thread- when i read that the forum is closing next weekend for maintenence i nearly had a fit!! :rotfl:I'm gonna have to find something to do... talk to people in the real world or something:eek:

Thanks Laura, trying to throw as much money at it as possible, have quite a bit in savings but have a huge holiday this year that I don't want to scrimp on, so debt will have to wait!

Congrats on breaking your £1K mark too. I'm addicted to this thread too and to be honest it saves me from shopping at lunch-time!
