Wifi is not free and I agree with another poster that TL is better value for money.

I believe it is at the Birmingham airport one but couldn't say about the others.
The peculiar thing is that it is quite difficult for hotels to change to free Wifi as each had to negotiate their own contract when Wifi was introduced with their local service provider. Many of these contracts are now up for renewal and hotels are, en masse, changing over to free Wifi providers.
Many of the Etaps in France have free Wifi and a couple in the U.K., but as a whole, this is the way that the company is progressing. As soon as they can change to a free service they will do.
